About
Michael has worked for La Clinica de Familia, Rio Grande Urology, Wexford Health Sources, and the Dona Ana County Detention Center. Michael’s article “Effects of an Asthma Club in the Southwest Border” was published in the American Journal of Nurse Practitioners in July 2000. He received his master’s degree, graduating with honors. Michael is licensed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He is passionate about the local community and has worked on numerous projects, including evaluating the Border Health Mobile Clinic, developing a crisis intervention program in Hatch, and initiating a school-based clinic at Santa Teresa High School.
