Internal Medicine
The internal medicine providers at MountainView Medical Group offer primary care for adults of all ages. Internal medicine physicians work to prevent disease through routine screenings and wellness exams. When illness does occur, patients may see internal medicine providers for evaluation and diagnosis.
Internal medicine providers are trained to look at the “big picture” of your health. They tend to be methodical, scientific and perceptive in their approach to medicine, gathering a large amount of data (through lab tests, observation, etc.) in order to diagnose the cause of illness. The internal medicine providers at MountainView Medical Group may work with other specialists along the way in developing a patient’s care plan.
MountainView Medical Group Internal Medicine at Lohman is also home to MountainView’s internal medicine residency program. Resident physicians have completed medical school and are in training to become board-certified internal medicine physicians. Following a visit with your resident physician, your history, exam and treatment plan will be reviewed prior to implementation.
